Greggs — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Standards are slipping. Went to greggs twice this week. On the first occasion a bean & sausage pastie to eat out - they were cold.

On the second occasion ate in, steak bakes and cup of tea. The milk jug was empty, and so was the napkin dispenser. The table we sat at was covered in crumbs / had to give it a wipe over.

The staff were friendly and gave quick service, but people were asked to immediately what they wanted to order, when they were looking / thinking / before they were ready to order.

I think if the shop makes a few small changes it could be...

What I especially love about our branch is the hot pastries first thing in the morning! We're always met with a smile, polite, friendly conversation and it's just a pleasure to have that store in our community, they all work so hard and will even let me ring up for an order and it's ready when I walk in! A busy Greggs, though very efficient as despite the long que it went down very quickly & my wait was short, staff also very friendly here.
