Cracking pub beer really decent staff really friendly whats not to like. A pint is a tad more expensive than some places but quality drink. No idiots nice relaxing atmosphere 👌 Six months later Well update and it's not good.. returned to this pub after six months no clue what has happened the beer was terrible flat, the pub smelled damp and not pleasant the men's toilets need a deep clean awful smell here too, one of the bench seats in the lounge area was ripped to shreds and all the foam hanging out could go on all day just unbelievable from being a great pub to the worst in such a short time, wished I'd had the presence of mind to photo the damage etc.

1st time in years, and quite frankly, I was impressed..... Stella was £4.40 a pint and served with a smile. It was good, the place was quiet at the time of visiting but I could see it being busy at other times. There is a beer garden at the front and at the back, so there are plenty of places to get a seat. It's clean and tidy with spotless toilets! Has a darts board and a pool table. Definitely visit if you're in the area.

Only went in for 1 pint. Stella £4.35 ( 1/11/22 ) so about a £1 over compared to others. But not a chain, so prices probably reasonable for small brewery? Nice feel to it, cosy. And served with a smile. So can't be bad.

Absolutely disgusting I wouldn't have gave this a star if I was able too. !! After going to the jam jar cinema which I would give 100 stars..!! I have disabilities and as we approach the pub a member of staff having a tab break refused entry to the pub with the accusation that I was intoxicated..Sunday 07/07/24 at approx 8.30 pm I have disabilities and specifically in my right foot....!! Absolutely appalling and I would suggest that yr staff be trained on awareness of possible disabilities it's not often I get out with having disabilities as I am unable to walk And on this occasion this staff member totally spoiled our evening totally humiliated me and I felt degraded and hurt so for that reason I have left this review and I would never spend any time in this establishment U SHOULD BE AND HOPEFULLY WILL BE ASHAMED OF HOW YR STAFF MEMBERS TREAT PEOPLE WITH...

This is the pub I always pay a visit when staying in Whitley Bay. Ever since 1997. It wasn't called The Brewery back then (Fritszgeralds?), but it's still the same good atmosphere. A typical "brown" English pub with some maritime decoration. Just lovely. I could sit her for hours. The only thing I would knock on is the menu. I miss the sandwiches. I went for the baguettes, but it is too massive for a light meal. A simple cheddar cheese sandwich would be just fine. But anyway, this is still my "local pub", when I visit Whitley Bay. Good beers, ciders and nice staff....
