Greggs — Restaurant in North Tyneside

Amazing place and the staff are great. First of all the food is excellent and the drinks are great. They do soups and stuff but mostly do pastries and sandwiches. The drinks are excellent with the wide variety. Also, the tea is top notch. The staff are friendly as they know exactly what service you want and they can give directions on where to go and are friendly as usual. The place is very open with a few seats which you pay 10 pence more with your order to sit on. Every now and again, a pasty being hot and fresh is much more important than it being your favourite variety. Today, I was blessed with the perfect storm - I asked for whichever pasty was hottest, and it turned out to be a chicken bake, one of my favourites!

The lady behind the counter was pleasant, efficient and calm under pressure. The queue was long, the cafe area was busy.

I'd absolutely recommend this Greggs as one of my top choices in Newcastle....
