There are bakeries where you simply buy bread, and then there are bakeries like this one—where every visit feels like stepping into a warm kitchen full of friends. The breads themselves are exceptional—crusty sourdoughs that crackle as you cut into them, soft and fragrant focaccia, rustic wholemeal loaves that taste of honest craftsmanship. The pastries are little works of art: buttery, flaky, made with patience and skill you can taste in every bite. Yet what makes this place extraordinary is not only the quality of the baking, but the heart behind it.

It’s rare these days to find a place where work ethic and warmth are so seamlessly woven together. Here, you feel part of something—welcomed, nourished, cared for. It’s more than a bakery; it’s a reminder of what community feels like when it’s baked fresh...

Saw this amazing display of pastries through the window and couldn't resist! (If you like sourdough bread this is the place to come, but get there early as they will sell everything!)

Got an almond croissant (amazing), lemon & cardamom pastry (really good) and a rhubarb & almond cake (looked good but bit like a thick plain cake with a bit of rhubarb/almond on top)

I also got a latte which tasted good, but the cup was really really small, and I was charged £3.80 for it when the menu on the wall said £3.40. For the same price you can get better coffee in a larger size from many places in the area.

The best sourdough bread I have ever eaten, I got the seeded one this time and it is amazing. The crust is so tasty and crispy and the inside is so soft and speckled with poppyseeds. Also had a few variations of the chocolate torte and it is sublime. Last time I got the chocolate and sea salted caramel which was amazing but this time it’s dark chocolate with a caramel nut top and I think I like this even more.
