Yesterday we decided to go to your restaurant , i had been exicted to try it for a long time after seeing so many oictures of fabulous pancakes an meals. We checked out the menu and took off its about a 35 minute drive for me . We arrived paid to park and headed to the door. we were greated by a lovely hostess who asked us kindly to wait a few moments as you were very busy . A few others joined the queue after us . another server came out ignored myself an my partner , and attended the people behind us. and invited them to wait inside . We continued to wait although we had been pasted up. We felt very judged i didnt dress up as i believed it was a relaxed environment and had no dress code. The server looked me up and down once again and ignored us as she went to the second group behind us again and assured them they would be seated shortly. By this stage i was very hurt an made to feel as though i wasnt good enough to eat there and that my custom wasnt wanted . It was actually very hurtful. Our orginal hostess came back and apologised and brought us in . The other server did not apologise and said oh i didnt think you were coming in . A snapshot judgment on someones appearance is not okay. we were seated but i couldnt even decide what to get i felt so shamed an terrible . like i wasnt good enough to be there and was an embarrassment. the group she proceed to take in first was being served . So we left . We drove 35 minutes home hungry disappointed an quite frankly really upset. I had been so exicted to come . please make customer service a priority the servers actions will sit with me alot longer than just an evening. She had dark hair and glasses, not to be confused with the hostess...

We arrived around 1 pm on a Sunday, so there was a bit of a wait to be seated and served, but it was absolutely worth it.
To start, we tried the Strawberry Spears Soda, recommended by our waitress. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with it. It was refreshing and not too minty.
For food, I ordered the Crème Brûlée French Toast as a light snack. It’s hands down the best French toast I’ve ever had. The cream was frozen and melted beautifully into the toast, while the caramelised sugar layer kept everything crisp. The strawberries balanced the sweetness perfectly, ideal for brunch! It wasn’t very filling, so I’d recommend ordering something extra or a light dessert if you’re hungry.
My friend had the Smash Burger and Fries. It was a nice portion with two patties, and she loved it; not overly filling either, so it was just right for a casual meal.
The staff were so welcoming, always smiling, and really made the atmosphere pleasant.
If you have time and don’t mind a short wait, definitely try Blend & Batch. I can’t wait to try everything else on the...
Read moreI'm generally not a person for leaving reviews but I feel the feedback on this one is important. My partner, myself and my children are frequent visitors to blend and batch, we love the food and the atmosphere alot and recommend it to all of our friends and family to visit if they're in the area. One thing that really has let you down over our last few visits is the service after the food is brought to the table. Nobody visited our table after we finished our food despite your manager (I make this assumption as she wasn't wearing a uniform like the other staff) talking and serving the folks on the table next to ours, she couldn't have missed the fact that we had finished our food. If our table was cleared and we were asked we would have 100% ordered coffee and sweet treats in addition to the ice cream our children should have received. We feel it shouldn't be the onus of the customer to ask the staff for these things, or go to the till to ask either. I really hope on our next visit the service once the food has...
