Went in this morning for breakfast and was given a menu and told to take a seat, was totally ignored by staff as they took orders from others who arrived after me. After 15 minutes I got up and left. Very poor service. I used to go in regularly but not anymore.
In response to your reply and assuming you have CCTV feel free to check it and you will see that no member of staff approached me in order to speak to me. The only staff member near was heading to the servery when I returned my menu to the counter. I certainly didn't storm out and when I arrived and was shown to my seat it wasn't busy and with exception of one other gentleman I was the only one sitting in that area of the cafe. When the lady handed me the menu I even said I didn't need the menu as I know what I want. She replied she had one order to take and would be over after that. Read moreWhat an amazing experience at Safari! We were visiting Ireland/Northern Ireland on holiday and had left Belfast and were on our way to Dublin. We wanted to eat outside of the hubbub of Belfast so looked for something along the way. This place was wonderful. We happened to come in on a night with live music and an incredible steak special. The food was top notch; the steak was cooked and seasoned PERFECTLY and the appetizers were delightful - the chicken wings in particular were fantastic. We got great drinks (highly recommend the bramble) and the dessert was awesome - sticky toffee pudding did not disappoint and the homemade cheese cake was fantastic. We talked at length to the owner - he was super friendly and genuine; he gave us some great tips for our trip into Dublin and just was overall a nice guy. Recording card details over the phone is not safe and should not be the only option for businesses to collect payments from customers. As we approach 2025, businesses should consider adopting online payment systems or secure phone payment options instead.
