Windsor Home Bakery — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Ordered a birthday cake for son and sent pictures and detailed instructions two weeks before required. I rang bakery one week before to confirm details as haven’t heard back after email, say they can’t find it so I send it again to same email address. They say theyve then received it and apologise. Then they ring me two days before required date saying they haven’t received email of instructions so I send it again. Instructions include the following photo. They explain they can’t do a round cake, I say a square is fine but can they make it green rather than the yellow in the photo, they say no problem. The first photo is the photo i sent in the email thé second is what I received (it did have a small plastic tractor/digger cake topper on when we got it but we replaced it with a decent one. I had no time to get it altered and just had to fix it up myself (3rd photo) which wasn’t ideal but only took ten minutes (and I haven’t a clue about cakes!!)...

Massive thanks to the Windsor for their kindness. Was in on Saturday with my little girl and we had purchased 2 cake pops. We got caught in a shower of rain on the way home with said pops fell out of the bottom of the bag. Needles to say I had one very distressed little girl. I went back to the bakery a little later in the hope there were some left to repurchase and not only did the girls working give my wee one the last 2 pops in the store they threw in a few top hats for her aswell. I've never seen a smile like it on her face. Top notch customer service and absolutely cracking cake...

Food is normally great and I love this bakery everyone is always so friendly and welcoming BUT have you changed your ingredients in the sausage rolls ? That's the second time now I've had them ans thought something isn't right with the taste . I thought it was just em the first time but its definitely not lol apart from that it's a great place and I'll.awlays shop here...
