Today we called for the first time for a takeaway to take to the beach. We have passed this cafe hundreds of times but have never ever called in until today. We can now say it will be a regular stop off from now on for a lunch to sit in or takeaway to the beach. We got a couple of paninis and took them to the picnic tables at the beach. They were freshly made piping hot and delicious they even came with a few crisps. We asked for a tub of coleslaw but they had run out so they very kindly offered us a tub of mayonnaise. Please call in for a coffee and a bite to eat it's a little gem of a place in the heart of...

We went on a wee drive up around the sunny North Coast, Sunday 19 July, 25. Our first stop was Cushendall. Saw Cafe Cova's sign and ventured over to suss it out. It was busy lunch time but still room for my husband and I. Our order was taken at our table by the lovely waitress. Hubby enjoyed a Breakfast Bap and I had the five piece fry with an extra. Was delicious! All with a pot of tea for two. Was a great cafe, would recommend it all...

I had a really uncomfortable experience here today I've never came across an establishment with staff as rude, when ordering an egg white one of the waitresses asked if it could be done, I then I got a nasty response of one of the staff 'well you can tell her yourself' and looked into the cook I felt so embarrassed and uncomfortable I just grabbed my stuff and left. It seems if you aren't local you'll be made to feel unwelcomed,...

Very nice and friendly café. Stayed at nearby guesthouse (The Central Bar) and breakfast was included for Cova. Family had a lovely breakfast... pancake stack being a big hit with the kids and filled soda (bacon, egg and sausage) for me. Service was super quick and food was very good. Food is great value too so would definitely be back.

Best Breakfast Sandwich. The breakfast spots in Ireland seemed to open later, so my appetite was in craving mode; Cafe Cava did not fail me. The breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, and sausage was terrific...I could have eaten three but only had one because my doctor would have had an issue. ;-)
