Delacys Cafe — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

I don't know why lt was happened l left your coffee shop on Friday early afternoon hungry and frustrated.Your coffee shop wasn't busy.No one else was at the coffee shop only me and my 2 friends. I ordered homemade stew for myself. I don't know what l got but lt looked like vomiting. Meats was not in at all.There was canned baby carrots in. The potatoes and carrots was raw. I think they mixed something for me quickly. My food (stew)was cold and needed take it back to warm up again. I m sorry now l didn't take a picture of my food.lt was disgusting. There were also problem with the service. We didn't get milk for tea. We didn't get a glass for the soft drink and we asked.After 5 minutes we had to go cash desk to ask for a glass. When l spoke with woman about my food because until today l don't know what was what they gave me. I had to pay what l didn't even eat. I was there first time but lt was last one. Big headlessness . We used to love Delacys. Great value, delicious food and good service. However the past few years they have really gone downhill. They catered an event, got the order majorly wrong (especially given the remit we discussed for the party.) We gave them the benefit of the doubt and used them again, explaining they had got it wrong before but we were cutting them slack. Once again missed half the order for the second party.

I presumed it was an issue with their catering set up but the bakery/cafe would still be good. We went back today and I ordered stew. It had was pure white with flecks of orange and maybe two dots of brown. It appeared to be a glorified bowl of mashed potato, with no stock, and a token dot of meat and carrot.

When we took out my son's bun for dessert, there was a hair (definitely present in the newly opened box and not ours!)🤢

I definitely won't be using them again. Poor service and now...

Delacys cafe is safe enough for you to go there alone and the staff is nice and kind and the price is very very very low and Delacys cafe is like a bakery and the stew is very very very good and yummy and the sausage rolls are very very very good and yummy even my frog loves the sausage rolls you can tell because he was eating one of the sausage rolls in our car in one of our photos and the scones are very very very good and yummy and the potatoes are very very very good and yummy and the value is great and Delacys cafe can...
