McDonald's — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

I have never left a poor review anywhere but this time I will. Sorry can't give any more than 1 star. I drive to McDonald's most mornings to get a coffee on my way to work at different Mcdonald sites. It seems though that the Restaurant in Strabane never opens at 7am when it's supposed to. Had to wait lots of times till doors were opened past 7am and then only to be told nothing is ready yet and have to wait. Drive through also not open at 7am. Once they do open, their service is extremely slow even if not many costumers present. Again compared to the other Mcdonald restaurants elsewhere, Strabanes McDonald's is the worst Ive ever been. Staff always looks as just out of bed. Unfriendly, tired and grumpy faces who ignore you and look elsewhere just in case you are asking to place your order. Only had 1 male staff who was actually smiling and nice (shame I didn't catch his name I would have praised and mentioned him here by name as he positively stood out) The rest seems to hate being there to work. Don't like early mornings myself but I sure know the importance of good costumer service, appearance and timekeeping. Manager there has to step up and address this issue with the staff or maybe its time for her/him to leave too as the manager makes him/herself look incapable at present. Just...

Twice now on a Saturday night on the way back from a night out dropping a friend off in Strabane we went to go to McDonald's, last night was the most recent around half 1 a. m. Both times cone is up and can't go through the drive through. Tried the door to do walkin no luck. Could see lights on but no one about. Was driving past about 10mins later after dropping my friend off and seen a boy at the drive through window - walking - no car in site. If your going to say your open 24hrs on a Saturday then be open. Why bother with all the advertising.. Just feels like the staff obviously don't want to have to work on a Saturday night. Have sent this review through the official channels but am sure it'll still be the same if I bother to call again another Saturday night. They forgot to put notices up to say that they dont accept 50 euro notes I sat in drive through and ordered only to be told at the window no I had three autistic children with me and they ended up completely distressed went and spoke to manager who said she would personally exchange the fifty euro note for me which was good but then came half the order went out to the car and discovered neither the chips for our meals where there or the correct hamburgers given back in again to ask for chips I'd paid for didnt check the bag till I got home and the chips were still wrong two short it's not the first bad experience ive had in this restaurant but it will certainly be my last staff need alot...
