went to this nando's for lunch recently, i have used this restaurant in the past with no real issues, BUT...that all changed on my latest visit ! a colleague and myself were seated, first thing we were told by the server they don't take cash, and i'm thinking whatever happened to 'how are you doing today' or 'your server will take your order shortly' or 'enjoy your meal'' no....obviously far too much bother to be welcoming or cordial or even smile, so we ordered our meal, got our drinks (drinks fountain dirty and messy) while we were waiting on our food arriving there were several i assume employee's or trainee's chatting and laughing and going in and out of the staff door beside the counter and kept going out the side exit and back and fourth, chatting and laughing and using four letter words and generally bantering, while all this was going on a very stern faced young man covered in tattoo's whom i am guessing was a senior member of staff was sitting at a restaurant table texting on his phone and obviously oblivious to the foul language and generally annoying behaviour of the staff/trainee's, terrible management in front of paying customers, and ultimately the food was not nearly as good a standard as other nando's outlets, rice sticky and barely warm, chicken wrap not hot and tough, just a very poor and disappointing dining experience which i doubt i will repeat, whoever manages this place need to check their customer service and staff...

Seemed as if this was the only option today, not offered for them to take the order or warn of any items that were out of stock today. No Wings at all, only half the starters available, no sauce with the houmous and when we asked (we had to ask where it was as nobody apologised they didn't have it today when it was delivered to the table) she just said "oh we haven't got any left" and walked away. Read moreUsually love Nando’s and have never had a bad meal but I am so disappointed this time. The corn on the cob was over cooked terribly and extremely dried out, the pitta wasn’t as crispy as usual and was soggy and the chips were cold and soggy.
I placed collection for 6pm and arrived at 6pm so the food must have been waiting around long to go cold. I live nearby and drove straight home so no issues there. I paid £20 and I would have got a better meal at KFC.
Basically, if you’re going to collect make sure you’re there super early (which sort of defeats the purpose of selecting your own collection time) and you’ll likely have a better experience. Unfortunately won’t be ordering again as £20 was a lot of money for me to spend on a meal and I was left very unsatisfied.
