Piggotts — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Food was ok but order was wrong. The old lady working there was being bossed about and still was really nice but the owner who took the order and messed it up was extremely rude. On two occasions he told me to wait as my lunch got cold. 1st was to clean an empty table and 2nd was to take an order from a table that wasn't ready to order. My meal arrived 10mins before my wife and I was refused to use the toilet as they are for staff only. I was a fairly regular customer who will not ever set foot in there again after the way the owner treated my wife and I. Will be going to Citezens Advice regarding being refused to use the toilet. Been here several times now whilst in Northern Ireland. Piggotts is a great place to eat whether you want a snack, a dessert and coffee, or a full dinner. It is decorated very well and is spotlessly clean, the staff are very welcoming and pleassant to talk to. They have a great menu with several daily specials to choose from, they're all served piping hot and are very tasty. Lovely coffee and desserts. The owner was welcoming and friendly, service with a smile and positivity added to our day. You never know how much the little things mean to someone and can make their day. Other members of staff also incredibly welcoming and amiable. Definitely a personal service and made to feel valued as a customer/ person which is rare in cafes/ catering settings.
