Becoming a regular for us for its fresh scones/cream and great coffee. Can be busy with local people but that says it better than words on how good it is. Some seating outside with overhead protection which is good for dog friendly visits and when the sun shines in during the morning.

We had to queue for 10 minutes. But was worth it. Friendly, courteous staff, great bistro menu. Coffee and food were excellent. My party of 4 loved everything they ordered. From French toast, to prawns with asparagus, to smashed avo on toast and Chicken Caesar. Highly recommended.

My experience with Marmalade is every dish will makes you say wow - A taste you’ll remember 🤤 What you are waiting for it's Time to wake up your Taste Buds. Cafe is excellent for their Outstanding Service - always ready to serve, So I would say " You can’t eat here just once "

I and my partner have ate here many times I’ve also ate with my family at lunch time spending around £65 then buying tray bakes to take home So a reasonable amount of money Think Saturdays 3 weeks ago my partner and I decided to go for lunch I had a bad chest infection and on antibiotics needed to take them before eating so bought myself a coffee outside to take the tablets Went in got a table both ordered lunch and soft drinks Then the guy who owns this place says do you want me to throw that in the bin , me not thinking said no I havnt finished Well off he went on one saying I hadn’t bought the coffee there so couldn’t drink it We are sitting with £45 in food he’s talking about a £2 coffee my own fault I suppose If this guy had of said it discreetly I would have understood but no top of his voice everybody turning round to look I was so embarrassed. I couldn’t even eat my lunch my partner either couldn’t get out quickly enough actually felt physically sick This guy would need to take some lessons on how to speak to people Me personally will never be back but this guy must have enough customer if he dosnt mind...

My Mum and I visited here today for the first time as per recommendation. We were absolutely appalled by the service. I was in the queue behind two others who were together, I told my Mum to go and take a seat at a table as she is unable to stand for any length of time due to a disability. The waitress approached my Mum and asked had she finished with her dishes, she explained they were from the previous customers. The waitress then asked my Mum infront of everyone had she skipped the queue? My Mum got flustered and explained that her daughter was queing up and she said well there were two others in front of you, even though there was another free table visible. Safe to say we didn't stay as a result of this, we went to Rosehip instead and their service was fantastic. My Mother was extremely embarrassed as a result of this as everyone was looking at us. We will never be back and will let others know of our experience. Maybe a little customer service training would be ideal for the waitress in question as we have never experienced...

Good location, nice ambience, decent staff that wants to be helpful, but lacking in knowledge about food. Obviously they use decent ingredients, but lack of skills or poor execution lets them down. I didn't ask for ice in my drink, I got ice. I didn't ask for sugar in my coffee, it was sweet. The menu said "poached egg", but egg was definitely not poached and hollandaise did not have a texture or taste of the hollandaise sauce. To top it off it came to nearly £25 for a brunch, one dish and two drinks, if the quality was good I wouldn't even mention price. However when you pay that sort of money for something that you didn't entirely enjoy, it feels like a rip off. Plenty of awards on walls, but when I asked a simple question about one of ingredients, they couldn't even tell me where it comes from, makes you wonder if they have any awareness if the products...
