AJ Quinn & Sons — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Let me just start with OMG, what a fantastic dining experience. I’ve been going to AJ Quinns for many years but have never eaten. The relatively new restaurant was on my list of places to try, and god knows why it took me so long to try it out. Let's just say it’s my new favourite place to eat out. Start to finish a wonderful experience. Right from the phone call to make a reservation to the night itself. Decided to have drinks in the bar beforehand and was served by a lovely guy Ivan. We got chatting and happened to mention we were on an anniversary night out. Ivan popped off and restaurant Manager Brian appeared who seemed to have been fully briefed about our reason for dining and couldn't have been more helpful and showed us to our seats. Very quickly Miranda our waitress took over also as nice as can be. It seemed like no time had passed before our starters arrived at the table, simply delicious. Again felt like no time from our dishes cleared and the mains appeared. Cooked to perfection. Of course, would be rude to not have dessert on a special night out. I should also mention I had noticed Ivan the barman halfway through our meals checking if we were being looked after. After our meal, we stayed on for a couple of drinks to finish our night off. Our family of 6 had a booking @7.30pm. Food was delicious. The staff were very attentive without been intrusive. Especially Paul he couldn't do enough for us & was also very professional - a real asset to both the restaurant & Bar.Dont leave Banbridge without a visit. I highly recommend this establishment. Last night, we dropped by this pub on a friend's invitation following a fundraising cinema movie. The welcome from the bar staff was like the "good ole days" when such hospitality was the norm. It was my first visit, and I was thoroughly impressed... the Guinness was top draw! Which made me order another just to be sure! We're already planning to return... a fantastic experience overall....
