Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Northern Ireland

Pretty sure that Tim Horton's is using this location to pilot some kind of robot staff, but they haven't worked out all the kinks yet. Never in my life have I ever had an experience like the one I had in this coffee shop. Our order was fairly simple, but the first person to assist us asked us to repeat it no less than three times. When we asked about an item we didn't order that was showing on the preview screen, she just walked away without saying anything else and another girl came over to help. Rude, but whatever. I figured the first girl was new and the second one would fix everything. We then repeated our order to the second girl at least three times and got no further forward with her understanding what we were asking for. At this point I started to think that this was a prank they were filming for TikTok or something. I'm a native English speaker and I was speaking as loudly and as clearly as I could without shouting. At one point my partner started to lose his patience and asked if there was something wrong with the way he was speaking that was causing the problem. At that point the girl told us that she couldn't hear us because of our masks....we were not wearing masks. Strange. Great toasties & good coffee. Toasties are not always consistent though! Sometimes they haven't been toasted quite enough, sometimes they are not sliced in two etc. Prices are high & food in general really quite bland. The chicken fillet burgers are wafer thin & it tends to be kids portions all round. I usually avoid the Drive-thru , as it is often very slow and more than once I've had to just drive off as it felt like the place had just suddenly closed shop !

Sat 18th March 2023: It was a circus today ! The staff running back & forth to the kitchen like headless Chickens, orders getting mixed up, the usual kamikaze service that seems to haunt this particular outlet! We got there in the end but im not sure I can take anymore of the Big Top shenanigans in here! 🤯

3rd Nov 2023 : Waited an age for my order and when it eventually turned up it was the wrong order! Very disappointed with service at Tim Hortons in Coleraine on 25/07/23.

Purchased several meals, one in particular was a Bacon Cheese Burger type meal that came without the bacon. When I checked with staff, they took the burger back into the kitchen area, when they returned it they had put cold bacon on the burger. Totally unacceptable and didn't have the manners to offer an apology nor attempt to improve the situation. In addition, the portions of lattice fries were very uneven, some reasonably full portions, while others were barely half a portion! Furthermore they had permitted a customer to bring in a dog (not a service dog, just a pet) into the dining area. The dog was not restrained on a lead. It took staff nearly 15 minutes to "waken up" and realise this. They eventually asked the customer to remove the dog from the premises. The staff were hardly rushed off their feet. They were not busy as there were not many customers sitting in nor using the drive through service! Maybe this should have been a sign?!!? Overall, a very disappointing experience and it would certainly deter me and my family from eating in Tim...
