On the 9th of June was my first time hanging out in “Be at One” Norwich. While hanging out with my colleagues from work I was pressed and needed the toilet on my way to the toilet mistakenly got in through the wrong corridor as I was new to the place and needed direction when all of a sudden the manager rudely approached me and started cautioning me unprofessionally which made me very uncomfortable as she was right at my face belittling me. We got into an argument then I replied her back. This woman then instructed the door men to forcefully kick me out after I’ve just spent £50 on drinks for me and my colleagues. I was publicly embarrassed right in front of my work colleagues and my money got wasted as my drink was forcefully snatched from my hand while being thrown out without hearing my explanation. Immediately I informed the police who suggested I make a review. Truth be told from my experience that night I wouldn’t recommend this place for people of color. Came here after spending the night at the pub as I didn't really fancy calling it a night and had a surprisingly nice time. Having been suitably ridiculed by the bouncers upon entry, we were shown to a table where a waitress came over the take drink orders promptly. Drinks were pretty pricey but it is a bar in the city so it's to be expected and the service made it more worth it. There was quite a chilled atmosphere and I felt really relaxed while I was there, which is always nice nowadays as its become second nature to feel tense in social situations.
