Just great! We arrived 45 mins after the breakfast menu ended, but the kitchen were happy to provide two vegetarian specials. Food arrived in good time - we hadn’t even finished the first cups of tea - and looked good, with a big (hot) plate holding lots of ingredients. It was perfectly designed, with just-caramelising sliced mushrooms taking centre stage. Beans in a bowl, tick, (if you want them on the plate, simply tip them on), fried eggs, tasty veggie sausages, a crisp hash brown, three toast triangles with enough butter, slices of avocado, and two crisp slices of halloumi. Two thirds of the space is for drinks/ dining / chilling and the other third given over to kids and their parents for play/ food fights, so seeing a couple of bad reviews for cleanliness made me think these ‘reviewers’ are just ridiculous - the cafe is spotless, unless you join the multitude of toddlers launching drinks and food at each other. Why don’t people support excellent small businesses instead of being so pointlessly negative? Or even speak to the staff like an adult, instead of being snide...

Can get busy, there are often children in there that can get a little loud but the atmosphere is nice.
Setting is a old beamed pub, thrift tables and chairs so nothing matches and there is artwork on the walls for sale.
