Copa Cubana — Restaurant in Norwich

Had a table booked but they made us wait outside for ages before letting us in and when they finally did, they told us any drinks we order would take 25-30 minutes, which I wish they'd told us sooner as we would have chose to leave instead of wasting all that time. The drinks took around 40 minutes to arrive and the waitress who delivered them was wearing her face mask around her chin, seemed a little drunk and then spilt my drink all over the table after I'd essentially waited over an hour for it. She offered me another one which I appreciated, but the second drink she brought me was a completely different colour and taste to the first one (and neither were particularly nice) so who knows what was going on in the bar.. I understand that some nights run smoother than others in hospitality but this was a total disaster, marked by disorganised management and unprofessional staff. The downstairs area had a nice decor, but where they seated us upstairs had a much less welcoming vibe. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone...

This has to be the worst food and service we had all ever had. After 10 minutes of ordering we got our drinks, despite there being no more than 5 people in there. After 1/2hr we had to ask where our appetisers were - olives, tortilla chips & guacamole- nothing to cook !! After 45 minutes the food came out & what a disappointment. The whole lot was bought in cheap food, calamari croquettes meatballs halumi prawns chorizo. Just all very poor. The staff seemed oblivious to the fact we had been waiting so long for food and they didn't even know what we ordered. For the fact there were 5 staff behind the bar they were standing around...

Found this place by chance when visiting Norwich and my parents wanted to try some Tapas. We are probably not their regular customer (with a 2 year old and grandparents) but made to feel very welcome by Anthony who was a delight throughout and incredibly helpful. The place is small with a bar and two small seating areas for food. It has an authentic Brazilian beach bar style, a little rough round the edges (by design) and full of character.
