I would like to thank three members of the Norwich branch. Firstly I would like to thank young lady on the reception who greeted us when we came for the first time to enquiry about booking table for this important occasion. I am sorry I didn't catch her name (blond hair, 2 plait, young, tall) It was our son First Holy Communion and so the venue was very important for our family. We really wanted to be seated out of public view and noise in a quiet area. She listened and understood our needs therefore she said she had a special room for us. She took us to the oval room and We immediately fell in love with the oval room because it was exactly what we were looking for. Second person to thank is Mr JP who made sure that the oval room looked special for this event. A day before we dropped table decorations flowers, table clots, baloons and he reassured us that he will take personal responsibility to make sure everything was laid according to our instructions. Having said that it made me feel a lot of calmer because I was stressing about the next day event if everything goes according to the plan. He arranged the table beautifully, sat my son in the middle of the table to make him feel important, lit the candles and so the room looked really cosy and special. Third person to send a massive thank you is manager Mr Sam who looked after us during this event. Sam is one of the most professional waiters we have come across. Firstly he greeted us and introduced himself, then he asked if any of us had any allergies. My son has food allergy and that put my mind as ease knowing this will be taken into consideration. Sam made us feel really special and particularly my son who was the most important person that day. Sam had great contact with the children and spoke to them with ease. Nothing was a trouble for Sam, he was patient, he was well informed about food and drinks and had great communication skills. Sam is a an asset for the cosy club Norwich, well done! Thank you all for making this day so special. We couldn't had chosen a better place for this important event! Will definitely be returning!

First time going to Cosy Club. We chose it as our “Christmas Party” meal choice (it was only me and my fiancé…self employed Christmas party). Our server was really upbeat and happy. I can’t remember his name, possibly Kian? Other staff just didn’t seem to look as happy, I get that there is stress and it being a busy time with it being Christmas so I guess that might be why? We ordered cocktails. The Old Fashioned was really nice, the Margarita was ok, didn’t have salt on the rim which I always expect but maybe that’s because I had the Seasonal Special version? We had 3 starter plates. All nice, but the Halloumi and hot honey just felt a bit overpriced for what it was. It was also a tiny bit dry so would have expected some kind of dip to go with it. The arancini balls were amazing. We did want the croquettes but they were sold out, which was surprising when it was only 4:45 when we were eating. We both had the festive burger and upgraded the fries to Parmesan and truffle oil. They were amazing! I very rarely get a burger when I eat out because I generally feel disappointed and wish I’d ordered something else but this one was lovely. The pigs in blankets were especially nice. We did have one drinks order taken wrong (wrong beer) but again, appreciated it was busy and mistakes happen. Total bill came to £90 (3 drinks, 3 small plates and 2 burgers) which just felt a bit high for what we got. The building is incredible, lovely setting. But something about the atmosphere just felt a bit off. Not sure I’d return for an evening meal. But would maybe try for breakfast or lunch.

A lovely venue for Christmas dinner with friends. The setting is spacious and luxe, and the high ceilings means it feels airy, which is lovely even though it was a bit chilly. The tables were spaced out and though it was busy we also had a space which felt private because of the panels and considerate layout. The starter is shared and single-option which is a nice touch and a good idea for slightly lightening the load on the kitchen and for wait staff. Not sure how they accommodate veggies/ vegans, but it worked for our group. The mains are tasty and we'll proportioned. I had salmon and was pleased some in my group didn't want all their veg as served with their turkey pies. The plates could have been warmer; in our group of 6 talkers, and with the chill in the room, my dinner was getting cold by the end. The desserts were great, I had the lemon posset which was tasty and well-set. Some of our party were too full for their dessert; a credit to good main courses! One of party is a bit fussy with dessert and she requested an alternative which was provided, no problem and no extra charge despite deviation from the set menu; hugely appreciated, thank you. The service was friendly and smiley, professional and well-executed but our waitress was clearly very busy and there was a fair wait between courses, or for drinks to arrive. We were having fun catching up so not too worried but if you're a quick drinker you might want to order your next one a bit in advance. A lovely night out for Christmas, great location and broad menu. Would recommend.

We came last night having booked “The Vault” for a friends 40th! As soon as we walked in we were blown away by how stunning the building was!! However, it was short lived when we were taken down to our room. The “waitress” who greeted us (well, grimaced at us) was the most unwelcoming, rude server I have ever come across! She told 1 of our party to not speak to her, when asked if she would come to the table to take drink orders once we were seated for food, she looked in disgust and said “absolutely not, you have to get up”, I tried to make light hearted conversation and she just ignored me completely and then rudely looked at me and said “pardon I didn’t hear what you said” when clearly she did! We didn’t see her smile ONCE, she kept fidgeting with her key fob, twizzling it round, she kept leaving the bar whilst we were all waiting, jokingly a member of our party went behind the bar (I know, he shouldn’t have, we did tell him off) and she shouted in an extremely aggressive manner “get out of my bar”. Honestly she made the room very uncomfortable!! However, once management was spoken to, she was replaced by an extremely wonderful waitress, very friendly, Polite, good banter with us all and def made our experience better!! The food was simply out of this world, it was delicious!!! I had steak and it melted in my mouth! The cocktails were to die for, such a variety and so good!!! Overall, we had a fantastic night only made better by the replacement of our waitress (who is clearly in the wrong job as she seemed to dislike, well, people!) thank you management and the young lady who came into save the day,...
