Popworld - Norwich — Restaurant in Norwich

Went here visiting for the first time two couples our friends in there late 30s/ early 40s us in our 50s to be greeted on the door by two how can I describe very rude and obnoxious door staff who were very young and inexperienced staff . We were turned away because one the of our party ( who is 39 was judged to be under 25 ) she obviously is not but he still refused entry to add to the issue the door man too photos of us which is in breach of GDPR I find this very insulting and alarming This spoilt the end to what was a good evening and our first trip to Norwich

In response to your reply your 20s ish door boy along with other members of your very rude staff proceeded to take photos of myself for no reason and when asked for a copy of what he had taken ( as they are obliged by law ) gave me a 56 year old with children older than him a mouth no answer as to why and what he was going to do with it ! Maybe your staff require more training in not only manners ( they clearly have non and how a 39 year old woman can look under 25 really ? ) No wonder clubs like this go bust Shocking...

I booked a VIP booth for my Mum’s hen party this weekend and cannot fault the staff at Popworld at all! They were so responsive to messages in the lead up, couldn’t help us enough and were so lovely! Shout out to Molly in the VIP section who was an absolute babe and made sure everything we needed was sorted! Also had a small incident where a man was harassing one of the girls in the group and being persistent about her drinking a shot he brought over. Obviously she declined, we reported it and Michaela, the manager, apologised so much and had him escorted out immediately for the safety of everyone in the club. Honestly I cannot explain how great everyone was! Thank you for the best night!! And the flip flops for £3…..whoever thought of that needs a...

Have been here quite a few times now and never disappointed music is brilliant, never waiting ages to get served even when they are busy, and the toilets kept in good clean order always a positive. The staff are brilliant and always kind and willing to help, was good too see one of the managers Steven if I remember right but he was helping his team and keeping everything in order and taking the time to speak to clubbers myself included he has a such a positive attitude and love for his job hence why his team works well great leadership... I always recommend Popworld and cant wait too go their again myself always a good night if you've not been please do you wont...
