Mapperley Fryer — Restaurant in Nottingham

So very disappointed. We have ordered from here for a number of years. When the father and mother ran it it was on point and reasonable. Now the son has taken over the food has slowly, but very surely, declined in both quality and taste. We ordered at about 5.30pm but the chips that came looked like "end of night, dirty chips" full of those horrible crispy bits left by the previous fry. The chicken meat is now tasteless and gristly. It looked my son's nuggets were cooked in the same, dirty oil. Spent nearly £40 on portions that should have cost about £25, if they were decent. Chips were hot, meat products cold. Mixed kebab had a sizable puddle of grease. I usually am known to Polish off everything but have genuinely thrown over half of it in the bin. Please consider what you are doing as a small independent business, you are ruining the previous people's years of reputation for the sake of..what? We will now be...

Absolutely disgusting we have just ordered 4 pizzas and all 4 had hairs in the cheese and on the bottom and the chips was disgusting unedibel this place needs closing down we have just called the shop and alls we got was sorry I not understand this shop needs shutting down. You just replied saying you gave us a full refund this is a lie as we got nothing back from you instead you tryed to offer me more pizza with a free drink so no you have not gave me a full refund so why lie in your reply and yes my misis was holding our blue frenchi the hairs in the pizza wear long and short black hairs so do not reply back on a comment unless your telling the truth your shop is disgusting staff are unhygienic no hair nets no gloves long hairs and beard trimmings in my pizza absolute joke...

Doner meat was good, chips that came with it looked like scraps but were eadible. Pizza supposed to be with double pepperoni and stuffed chrust-you can get more pepperoni on plain pepperoni pizza in other places and stuffed crust was unfortunately undercooked inside. What was the worst, ive ordered 2 large cups of sauces - chilli one was okay but what was supposed to be garlic mayo, it was absolutely disgusting, tasted like some chemicals and im not gonna be describing what else. Absolutely filthy. Avoid the sauces, get a kebab....
