The Bulls Well — Restaurant in Nottingham

The is a cracking micro-pub. It's been open about a year but is already popular and relatively well known (except to taxi drivers!). I was there for a special occasion so used the function room only that they have upstairs. Whilst not a huge space, it can accommodate 40-50 people. If you have that many though, don't expect to be able to use the small dance floor!!!

Drinks are obviously not as varied as what the have in the main bar, but prices are great. Only £1 for cans of soft drinks, just over £3 for draft beer and a tenner for a bottle of wine.

Would also recommend using their catering too. We all enjoyed what was provided.

OK as a micropub on previous visits, however, visited on Saturday afternoon with my wife, the pub was very busy and seemingly with exceptionally loud people. We found a place to sit whilst having a pint and when we got up to leave were then abused by people who had been on the table behind us and had been shouting instead of talking to each other, despite only sitting across a table, for apparently having moved the bench that they were sitting on whilst we'd been sat down. This turned into being shouted and sworn at as well as other verbal abuse as we were trying to leave. Very dissapointing as I had previously visited and had found the place to be ok. Certainly won't be going in again and suggest that the staff pay more attention to the behaviour and language of...

This place is amazing, would definitely recommend. They did an amazing platter for us that catered for everyone with different dietary needs. The presentation was also very impressive.

The pricing is also very good for the quality and quantity you get. Tracey at The Bulls Well was lovely and came up with some amazing ideas for us. Everyone at the event loved the food and the set up of it all, there was a lot of hard work and care that went into it.

Will definitely be going back for future events and the odd lunch.
