Vietnamese Spring Rolls
If you've not tried these before, they are a must! Filled with vermicelli noodles, seasoned minced pork, wood ear mushrooms and carrot all in a super crispy, bubbly rice paper. Served with your choice of fish sauce or sweet sauce. (vegan option available)
Vietnamese Summer Rolls
A favourite on the streets of vietnam. Fresh rice noodles, king prawns, thinly sliced pork and a selection of veggies wrapped in a clear rice paper. Served with a healthy amount of our crunchy homemade peanut sauce for serious dipping action. (vegan option available)
Korean Fried Chicken
Nicknamed candy chicken, this is always a winner. Spicy, sticky and crispy wings served with a cooling that's packed with flavour. Be sure to take a napkin for this one. It's messy, but it's sooo worth it.
Pad Krapow
Sold on pretty much every street in thailand for a reason. Minced pork stir-fried with fragrant holy basil, palm sugar, garlic and shallots all make for a mouth watering experience. Served with beautiful.
Summer Bowl
Crispy spring rolls served with a colourful bowl of salad greens, cold rice vermicelli noodles homemade sauce drizzled over the top and some crunchy nuts for you to mix up and get.

Although me and my partner have been to Robin Hood multiple times for drinks and tacos, we finally had the Sunday dinner from Robin Hood/Tacolypto. I was so looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. I had the braised beef shin which was shredded off the bone before serving and it was so tender and flavoursome. My partner had the chicken which he said was very nice as well. The roast potatoes were absolutely on point, super crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, which I’m not sure how they do as the roasties were relatively oval shaped, not cubed and fluffed up par-boiled to get those crispy edges! The gravy was super nice too, and the veg had the right amount of crunch. I’ve never been a fan of spiced red cabbage so I left most of that but it was still okay, I tried it again for posterity but it just isn’t for me. The mashed potato was nice but a little too smooth for me, maybe I’m just used to my mum’s mash with slight lumps in it and a ton of butter and cream haha.. You could tell the Yorkshire puddings were homemade, massive size, crispy on the top and slightly soggy on the bottom but in a good way, just how I like. Terry even made a little doggy dinner for our dog, who absolutely lapped it up and was literally begging for more. All in all the roast was splendid, as well as service and drink prices. Terry is an accomplished chef and although we’ve only caught the roast dinner as it’s coming to a close, we wish Terry the best of success in the future and look forward to sampling his future culinary delights.

Visiting friends for the weekend and came here for a Sunday Roast. I have to say, it was the best roast I’ve had in a very long time. The portions were generous and it was so so tasty. I had the beef shin and I could not fault it. Such a cosy pub, nice and warm and the staff here are a delight. Friendly, accommodating and genuine people making the whole experience enjoyable. There is a lot of establishments that can learn a lot from the staff here. Thank you and see you again sometime.

Fab venue for live music. @The Days of Tomorrow were fabulous! Thanks to the manager for one more song. Alcohol free IPA actually tasted pretty good for a designated driver. :) Can't wait to come back. Easy parking at Spondon Street. Do wish it was lit at night.

We recently went to the Robin Hood for the first time in quite a while and the new owners were exceptionally friendly. The subtle changes to the decor are great but what blew me away was the food. Someone mentioned they went there recently for the Sunday Roast and it was the best they had ever. Since it wasn’t a Sunday we had the fish & chips and I’ve had a few in my time but nothing came close to this. The fish was cooked perfectly with a wonderful crispy chipotle batter. The minted peas and home made tartar sauce were fantastic and the coating on the chips made them very, very tasty. Exceptional. The transformation at the Robin is great with many shows & events scheduled. If you want to support a local pub...

Went here for a Sunday Roast and boy was I impressed. I went for the vegetarian option and recieved a lovely concoction of sweet potatoe, feta cheese, red pepper and almond. The real stars on the plate were the turnips however. I will admit, I've never been a huge fan of the turnip, but whatever the chefs here did to theirs has converted me. In fact, all the vegetables were done to perfection. They were generous with the portions too, which really added to the appreciation of the meal. We were seated by staff who couldn't do enough, despite us being walk-ins. I couldn't recommend this place...
