Connors — Restaurant in Oadby and Wigston

Such a find! I go to Wigston and usually look for a nice cafe’ for either breakfast or lunch. This place is so friendly and adaptable to your preferences when you order and the food is freshly cooked and with quality ingredients. My partner is a breakfast snob and he thinks the full English is outstanding and I have to agree! Homemade soups and other snacks available on their specials boards too. It will be our ‘go to’ from now on. We highly recommend it from a lovely family business doing their best at this popular cafe. I suspect all the 1 star reviews with or without comments was a call out on Facebook from a competitor in the area and got their friends to denounce the business. Ignore them and...

I went in today to pick up a couple of hot baguettes and it seemed busy but not rammed. I ordered and paid and was told to take a seat to wait for my food. 30 minutes later and still no food, I went up to ask if my order was coming to be told everything comes in the end but it depends on how long. I sat back down while the lady went to check and she came back to say they are waiting on beans, I told her I was not having beans but 2 hot baguettes, she then went in the back and a few minutes later came back out with the food. No real explanation or apology!

I actually feel bad for this business 😂 the powers of the Internet. I absolutely love Adam from beard meats food. Yes it's a shame this small business did bad and didn't see the opportunity of a 5 million view video of such a legend and wanted to save on a £12 sarnie.
