Blue Onion Café — Restaurant in Oldham

Dreadful, at first glance all looked good as I seen the hot plate was nice and clean, I soon realised why it was so clean. Paid £6 for a breakfast and watched as the mushrooms were sliced, then I watched as they were dropped in to the deep fat fryer. Following that, the ash brows was propped in, then the sausages went in. Id seen enough, there was no way I was eating a deep fried breakfast. I told the owner and I walk out £6 out of pocket.

Unlesss the owner changes this Lazy work ethic I would not recommend...

Had the full English breakfast which was very nice. While having the breakfast I ordered a drink, which the staff forgot about and didn't bring. After finishing the breakfast and went to paid the staff charged me for the drink which I didn't get, after mention that I didn't get it he took the price off. It cost me £2.50 and I paid with a £10 note and the staff short change me and gave me £2.50 back. I had to remind him I gave £10, which he corrected again.

Tho the food was good, customer service...

Went into the blue onion this morning, and had a very warm welcome from all the staff, i ordered a bacon barm with a coffee, which the bacon barm was upto my expectations perfect no fat on the bacon fresh barm and the coffee was really lovely proper coffee beans and reasonably priced. They have a good options of food even cater for people who eat only halal. Lovely place to go to for food, drinks or even a nice chat with the staff, well deserved 5*...
