I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Eight Bells pub, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience that left a lasting impression. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal. To start, we ordered both the spicy chicken wings and the BBQ chicken wings. The spicy wings were a delightful burst of flavor with just the right amount of heat, perfectly cooked to ensure they were tender and juicy. The BBQ wings, on the other hand, were a fantastic balance of sweetness and smokiness, making them an instant favorite at the table. Each wing was generously coated in sauce, showcasing the pub's commitment to providing a satisfying dining experience. Accompanying our wings were the peri chips, which were a standout side. Crispy and seasoned to perfection, they added a delightful kick that complemented the chicken beautifully. The skinny fries were equally impressive, offering a classic yet satisfying crunch that left us wanting more. To round out our meal, we indulged in the onion rings. These were some of the best I’ve had, with a light and crispy batter that encased perfectly cooked onions. They were the ideal accompaniment to our wings, providing a nice textural contrast. Overall, The Eight Bells pub exceeded my expectations with its delicious offerings and friendly service. Whether you're looking for a casual meal with friends or a cozy night out, this pub is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu!

A beautiful and extremely welcoming local and intimate venue. My first time here and for my friends wake following his funeral and they catered for everything and everyone with smiles, great service and dignity. The staff were so polite and the drinks very reasonably priced. The DJ did a fantastic job and played a great selection of favourites from my friends in musical theatre and chart music. Would highly recommend this place and I most certainly will be going back time and time again. Thank you truly for a great time on such an emotive and sad day.

A great boozer not many left since the pandemic sadly but this family friendly pub goes above & beyond ensuring that customers leave with a positive experience weather your dining in for food or just having a pint with friends & family. This pub always has brilliant entertainment a respectful atmosphere with great songs/artists on the playlist George Ezra one of my personal favourites to be exact, the bar staff are always welcoming & are very engaging in conversation & the lanlord whose actually my partners brother works Tirelessly managing the pub to the best of his abilities. A real top fella. Highly recommend the visit…...
