Update: Heavenly Desserts has replied to my review... Not happy with completely humiliating my 12yr old boy they are now calling me a liar because I have left an honest review of my experience with this place! Pathetic!!
And in terms of you having no recollection of this incident, I have phone records of us phoning you yesterday to raise our concerns about my boys nut allergy! In terms of turning the whole birthday party away... review your CCTV footage since you have such a short memory and apparently can't recall this incident!!!
Absolutely Disgraceful Treatment – Avoid at All Costs!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My 12-year-old son, who has a severe nut allergy, was excited to attend a friend’s birthday party at Heavenly Desserts. We called ahead to check their allergy policies, and from the start, we were met with an uncomfortable and unhelpful response. They outright admitted they couldn’t guarantee that there wouldn’t be cross-contamination, which understandably made my son nervous.
Because of this, his friend’s lovely mum offered to change the venue to somewhere safer, but my son, not wanting to ruin his friends' plans, bravely decided to go and simply not eat anything. To ensure he wouldn’t feel left out, his friend’s mum planned to bring him a nut-free dessert from the supermarket while the rest of the kids enjoyed their treats from Heavenly Desserts.
However, when they arrived at the restaurant, the staff did something completely outrageous – they turned the entire party away just because my son, who they themselves admitted they couldn’t safely cater for, would be eating a store-bought dessert. This decision was not only unnecessary but also deeply humiliating for my child. Imagine being 12 years old and feeling responsible for ruining a party! The emotional distress this caused him is beyond unacceptable.
The birthday boy’s mum rightfully told the manager that their treatment of my child was appalling, and they made it clear they would never return. Neither will we. I will be telling everyone I know to avoid this establishment. No child should ever be made to feel like my son did today. Heavenly Desserts? More like Heartless Desserts.

Awesome, thick milkshakes: two generous scoops of heavenly gelato in the milk, plus some fresh fruit if appropriate.
We've had strawberry, strawberry cream, Belgian chocolate and salted caramel shakes: much better than other competitors, including big brands like G&D.
The choice of gelato flavours is astonishing: pistachio, coconut, raspberry ice-cream (until now, I have ever only seen raspberry sorbet - they have that, too, don't worry!), summer berry, mango, banana, blood orange toffee/fudge, chocolate brownies... With real berries, chunks of fruit or cookie dough...
Belgian waffles sundaes are delightful, and they have American Waffles & Cake-based desserts as well. Didn't try those.
They partnered up with deliveroo, so you can order some yumminess from the comfort of your home.
*ASD-friendly means that autistic & NDs - like yours truly - will find this place better suited for our specific needs. Ther place is spacious, plenty of walkway between tables; comfy soft benches in little cabins; soft armchairs by tables for couples.
It's never obnoxiously busy, and customers tend to be older than han, say, G-D crowd; those 2 factors plus the soft sound-absorbing furnishings work to ensure that it doesn't get so loud as to cause you pain or make it impossible to hear your companion who is screaming in to your ear, trying to raise their voice above the background cacaphony of others doing the same thing.
The lighting, I believe, is mostly supplied by...
Read moreThe one place dedicated to deserts l have no regrets going to! After having dinner in a Japanese restaurant which sadly didn't have an desserts on their menu (still amazing food tho), l was left craving for something sweet to finish the evening. I looked up various places and after a few minutes, l decided to go for Heavenly Desserts. The place is very spacious and has that American feel to it which is pretty cool. We were walked up to our table and handed over the menu and there l was... in heaven! The choice is amazing, it varies between categories of crepes, American gauffres, Belgian Gauffres, cookies dough, ice creams, cakes and so on. Each categories was a few variations which made me want to try one of each really but in the end, l settled for an American gauffres while my girlfriend went for a Belgian version. AMAZING! Also ordered a pretty fascinating tea, basically a dried up flower which you put in the hot water and blooms right before your eyes within 2 or 3 minutes. Overall, loved it and which l was local to Heavenly Desserts but at the same time, l am thankful to be 100 miles away or l would put on a few pounds...
