Lovely little place in the middle of Headington, Oxford!! Who would have thought?! Tucked away just out of sight on London Road- busy road with loads of shops. We’re dog sitting so this was one to try. Quiet busy but big enough to accommodate many picnickers! Quite a a few dogs running about, so had to be careful with picnicking on the grass. Good things to look at and read. Park for all ages, young and old. Would recommend it for both- picnicking and dog walking, with or without a dog! Maybe grab a few things from the shops near by and have a quick lunch? Easily spend a couple of hours contemplating life and watching the world go by! Worth a visit, definitely!

Such a great central park 🪵🌱 in Headington area, 10mins away by bus from the centre of Oxford city. The landscapes are very well maintained and there is a great playground for the kids. 🚴♀️🥅🏀 There are a few free parking spaces available next to the north-side entrance. Public rest rooms available within a short distance. There is also an ice-cream van available daily on the afternoon. Parents can have coffee ☕ from local stores, close to the party. The public Library🏫📚 is a great asset, located in the centre of the park and it is definitely worthy to visit👌.

It's one of my favourite places to go in Oxford during the summer. After you finish remember to get chips or scampi and chips in the chippie opposite or visit the Greek restaurant. Visitor highlights: the playground and the super friendly squirrels! Update: they now have a little cafe at the park which is a welcome addition. See my photos. You can either order takeaway from the side or come in. The staff are extra polite and you can order from a dog menu as well as kids and adults!

We enjoyed the park tremendously. There was even a ping pong board or two with bat's and balls ! free to use Lots of activities things to climb on and some interesting but weathered wooden sculptures related to C.s Lewis's The Lion witch and the wardrobe. Toilets were locked at the park, but there is a lovely fish and chip shop over the road to eat drink etc. Lots of greenery and old trees good for a walk as well as playtime.

Fantastic all round park! Family friendly, great amenities, in the centre of headington. Easy to get to ...bus stops outside the main entrance, several car parks really close by, great cycle routes. Great play park for a range of ages, tennis courts, basketball hoops, plenty of seating and bins, lovely library, cycle racks available...maybe could do with a few more perhaps sheltered? Makes a great day out with the family!

Great park. The park has lots of facilities like tennis courts, ping pong tables, mini golf, public toilets, public library (disabled access), some parking and great play areas for younger and older children. Highlights include the pirate ship in the sand pit, water play area, the haha wall and the wooden sculptures of Aslan (Narnia).
