Found our new love in east Oxford in St Clement's, good food choices with many of them prepared and presented in our familiar Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng (茶餐廳) style. If you are not sure what to pick, ask the friendly staff for advice or pick from the set menu that offers pork, chicken or beef. Vegetarian options are available too. The food was served pretty quickly, perfect for the hungry and hurry tummies 😋

The diner has a relaxing and family-friendly atmosphere. No booking is required but you may need to time your arrival to avoid waiting for a table, specially if your party size is larger than four. We went at lunchtime when the restaurant just opened and there zero waiting.

The nearest and most convenient pay and display carpark is the adjacent St Clement’s Car Park. Free on street parking in and around the area is also available in the evening and Sunday. Just make sure that you check the sign and avoid parking at the resident...

I have come here multiple times and on each trip the food has been absolutely amazing and delicious. I absolutely adore everything I have eaten and am only saddened when it’s closed or when certain set menu mains are yet to make a recurrence, due to how delicious they are. The dishes are always picture perfect and tastes just as good. I absolutely love the karaage with soba noodles in soup and, most recently on the set menu, the roast pork belly with braised tofu, literally the best tofu I’ve ever had and some of the most tender pork I’ve eaten. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help wherever they can, especially for new comers who may be unsure about the menu. Expensive price, unreasonable portion!

I went with friend to try this restaurant one week ago and we both got bad experience. Service was just fair though needed to pay service charge. But this was not the main problem. The main failure was the quantity and size they provided. The photo attached was the French Toast and chips we got. A really thin toast with a little chips.
