Was told I was a liar when requesting a refund despite delivery driver clearly lying to me? Incredibly ridiculous service, food was freezing cold after the driver left it on the doorstep with no knock (I was down there the whole time, with my phone, waiting), phoned back and was told that due to the order name being 'Luke' and apparently a woman answering the door, he asked if the man who ordered this was there to which this woman apparently replied "leave it on the doorstep, it might be a friend's". I was quite shocked he'd lie to me like that as 1) I was down here the whole time so would have heard someone at the door, and 2) the only woman in the house being our housemate who was upstairs working and didn't come out of her room the entire wait-time. My friend who was waiting for the food with me called the restaurant back and explained this to him and was prompty told that it was actually him lying, and that a refund would not be coming ("not in your life", "no way, no way, no way" were the words used I believe, not exactly professional is it?). What a horrible man, I will not be purchasing from here again, which will leave you a good £50 per month out of pocket as me and my friend used to order from here almost every week 🤷 Really not that hard to admit you're wrong and offer a refund, but I guess this guy was feeling...
Read moreWorst customer service ever experienced. Had a delivery amounting to around £20. Unfortunately the food was cold upon delivery. They didn’t seem to fathom this was a possibility, and refused to believe a disappointed customer spending decent money on unsatisfactory food. I’m sure they get plenty of people swindling them by claiming food is cold, but I said I understood that, and reassured them whole heartedly I was not one of these chancers. They refused to communicate with me, being exceptionally rude over the phone and hung up mid conversation several times. No solution was found or explored, it was simply they were right and the customer, in this case myself, was wrong. I’ve no doubt they frequently encounter this issue, and just hope customers buckle when in dispute and fail to demand money back or another solution. Resulting in them making good money whilst serving poor quality food. I can accept in a high output kitchen mistakes are made, and delivery process can leave food cold. What is not acceptable is failing to accept sub-standard food may have been sent out, and help a customer find a solution. And for a disappointed customer to be treated as a liar is...

I made an order at 8:40pm it was to arrive between 9pm-9:20pm it didn’t arrive I phoned up at 9:27pm asked where it was the bloke who turned out to be the manager hung up to ring the driver then rang back got told the driver is near by waited 22 minutes more rang up again told him it wasn’t here he yelled at me & had a tone/attitude with me (this was the manager btw) saying it had been delivered to reception it had not I was outside the hotel the entire time waiting no one came then he passed over the phone to a driver he was calm told me to ask my hotel reception so I did they didn’t get any deliveries so they sent it back out, 15 minutes I finally got my food but they had forgotten an item & replaced it with something else. So after waiting over an hour for my food having to ring up twice about it & having tone/attitude from the manager not to mention him yelling at me down the phone they had forgotten one of my items, truly the worst fast food experience I have ever had & BY FAR the worst customer service I have ever had.
