Tried to resolve over email, no response, I.e no care given.

I went to the counter to order, I asked for a veggie breakfast wrap, no mushrooms.

'Veggie' breakfast 'no mushrooms' came out, I said I ordered a wrap but was told I didnt order that, ok maybe I got it wrong so accepted.

A few things ended up giving away this was a MEAT breakfast with the mushrooms taken off.

Mushroom residue and bit of mushroom on plate (see picture top right) -'VEGGIE SAUSAGE' - I had abit of both the 'veggie' sausage and normal sausage and they tasted the same.... no difference in texture, taste or smell. A miracle if true. -No hummus on plate that are in the veggie breakfast, of which we seen on another table before we left how it should look.... NO SAUSAGE on there plate either. -The biggest giveaway, There is no veggie sausage listed on the menu items for a veggie breakfast or veggie wrap. Veggie sausages are not something they do.

I asked again did I order a veggie breakfast and told yes definitely I did. I queried where the hummus a was and why there was a sausage on the plate and told it was definitely a veggie sausage. However, I was offered a refund on that plate which I accepted.

However, the reason I am writing this review is that the server straight up lied which I have since found out from checking menu in store and online. THEY DO NOT SERVE VEGGIE SAUSAGE, ITS NOT A MENU ITEM, IT DOES NOT EXIST... this was a lie to cover up the mistake.

Absolutely disgusting, this place should be shut down for that alone, serving meat on a veggie breakast then lieing saying its veggie. Being lied to multiple times is simply disgusting when clearly evidenced it was wrong.. See the picture of this veggie sausage, then check your sausage when you have it, its the same.

Cakes are amazing. Five stars. Beautiful works of art and super delicious as well. Initially may look pricey, but based on flavour, looks and execution, they represent reasonable value compared to what is available elsewhere IMO. Coffee is just so so… Could be improved, and more robust. Would only give three stars for the coffee. Cafe is delightful. Tastefully decorated, with gorgeous display of cakes labelling all different types. I had a cake shaped like a mango with a yummy cream filling together with real mango and covered with coloured white chocolate on top of a crunchy biscuit. Chocolate brownie was to die for. Nicely furnished with tables not too close together. Amazing people watching if you get the window looking out on to Oxford High Street. Good for a natter as it’s not too loud. There was also pleasant jazz background music. I’ve been here twice in a week, which I think is enough recommendation. We was about to go to our well known and beloved tearoom for coffee and cake but it was fully booked. So we past this pretty looking cafe and thought we should try it out. Very pretty simple french chic interior. A good range of cakes/pastries to choose from. Beautiful tea crockery used and everything was well presented. We sat by the main window on bay style seating overlooking the high street. It was lovely and quiet in the late afternoon when we arrived so had a relaxing time sipping high quality hot beverages and eating the most amazing white chocolate mango mousse. I have tried many mousses at different establishments and this was definitely the best. Not too sweet, well presented and great texture. Very moreish but it was the last one available. I definitely love to come back and try their afternoon high tea. Shame the owner was too busy as we loved to compliment his bakery...
