Yesterday it was scorching heat and they didn't have enough ice to serve drinks. They sent away a customer while giving them a free drink card. I was next and I ordered a hot drink after asking them if they had some ice. The person after me also asked for an iced drink and they were told the best they could do is to serve the drink in room temperature. But at that moment, the other employee who was making the drinks said that there was some more ice now. I immediately asked them whether they could add some in my drink. The guy by the till blatantly lied to me in front of everyone saying that there wasn't enough ice and he declined to add some ice to my beverage. Customer service 2 out of 5 to me because of this. If you want to sell a hipster, intellectual and chilled out vibe, try to be courteous and polite to all customers. To whomever manages this place: make sure you have adequate provision of ice or get an additional machine. You are in the city centre, it is summer, you sell expensive beverages, try to keep it to a standard at least. Very disappointed...
Read moreStarted out well as the baristas were really friendly and upbeat, was lovely chatting to them. The issue comes from lack of attention to dietary requirements.
I made it abundantly clear that I am vegan - asking about vegan milk options, vegan cakes - and I ordered two coffees with oat milk, having specified the oat part three times. My coffee came out tasting like cow's milk. When I went back to ask if it definitely is oat the response I got was "I don't know, it might not be". I was made a new coffe where the milk was curdled, hardly an improvement. The baristas remained friendly and apologised but it didn't do much to improve the impression.
I've always had a low lactose tolerance and being vegan for a few years decreased it even further. Taking just two sips of cow's milk made me feel horrendously sick with stomach cramps for the...

Our recent visit to The Jericho Café was deeply disappointing. Accompanied by a young child and elderly parents, we anticipated a welcoming environment but were met with staff who were dismissive and unprofessional. Their demeanor lacked the courtesy and attentiveness one would expect in a hospitality setting.
This experience isn't isolated. Other patrons there have noted similar concerns, describing the service as "unfriendly and disinterested" . Such consistent feedback suggests a pattern that the establishment might benefit from addressing.
While The Jericho Café may have its merits, our encounter underscores the importance of consistent and respectful customer service. We hope the management takes these observations to heart and strives for...
