£7 for a sausage bacon and egg sandwich, on the menu it's the taylors big breakfast bap we'll I can tell you there is nothing big about it other than the price. 1x sausage, 2x bacon and 1x egg and half a mushroom. Absolute joke! And £2.10 for a bottle of water, unless you like small portions and big prices stay away. They should be ashamed

Terrible staff (did they care? did they hate working there?) and very watered down coffee. Have had much better service at other locations so don't want to give 1-star for the brand based on a single experience. Both the Americano and decaf options were weak. Very much a chain re: quality and experience.

Super friendly team and the best salads in Oxford! I’ve been coming here for two years - their ‘pick your own toppings’ salad bar is impressively varied, and I always love the chat with Joe and the rest of the team. Highly recommended - and do try their hot sandwiches… decadent but delicious. :)

Certainly won’t be returning if this is how they treat their regulars. Incredibly rude staff member: I’d waited fifteen minutes for my ‘fast pasta’ and watched several people who ordered after me get served. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and wondered if it was slower because I was eating in but no turns out they had forgotten the order. When I went up to politely ask about it the man responded with surliness, asked what it was with a tone that implied he couldn’t care less, then started quizzing me on pomodoro vs sausage pomodoro as if it was somehow my fault they’d forgotten the order, instead of offering any apology or checking the order. When it was done he plonked it on the counter and said ‘it’s ready’ with outright hostility when I’d watched all the other dine-in customers have their pasta taken to their tables. I wanted to make a complaint there and then but just thought what’s the point. If that’s his attitude I doubt anything I say will make a difference. I had been a regular and always thought their salad bar was decent, and other members of staff seemed fine, but I’d encountered this man’s rudeness once before and so I definitely won’t...

Been eating in Browns for 40 years. I went with 2 friends for a quiet birthday lunch. We were put on a table between 2 tables of women also out to celebrate a birthday but rather noisier than us. Every time the waitress asked if everything was o.k. one of us said "No, we can't hear ourselves think". Then the women from one table went and sat with the other table... they didn't know each other. By this time we'd given up trying to chat. I went back a few days later to discuss what had happened but the same maitre d' said they couldn't do anything about the customers' behaviour. I said that they could have moved us. The restaurant hadn't been full.

The food was great.

Feel rather sad about it as we'd been there many times and...

Just asked if they do iced coffees and after a positive answer I ordered an iced cappuccino. She went and called another member of staff and he asked if I want a cappuccino or a latte because 'they are basically tee same thing'!!!!! He went and called a third member of staff because he didn't know how to make it!! He filled a cup with milk and added a shot of espresso. This is neither a cappuccino nor a latte!!! I have been charged 3.25 while the normal hot cappuccino costs only 2.40. I have been informed that this is the pricing for iced drinks. If you don't know how to make a coffee close it down!! I'm not going...
