Fish & Chips Review by Chukka Fish Batter 10/10 Fish 10/10 Chips 9/10 Peas 8/10 Presentation 6/10 Total score 43/50 Don't be fooled by the not so great presentation, this fish and chips is one of the best I've eaten in a long time. The quality of the fish, the batter cooked to perfection, the taste and texture of the chips made this one great meal! Only the peas let it down slightly for me as they were a bit runny, almost soup like. But that would come down to preference so don't let it put you off. Knocked a post off the chips simply because of the quantity, could have done with a few more. The presentation wasn't the best as you can see, but I would rather, a dish not presented perfectly with a perfectly cooked meal than the other way around. Well done chef!

Bargain meals when you're on the go. Great service from the team 👏🏿 It's always a pleasure looking out for the seasonal good beer promotional offers at an average of £1.79 - £1.99 per pint. Free unlimited tea and coffee from a self service station too. Free call taxi service available and adequate disabled toilets and access to the venue. Unfortunately due to location there is no car parking facilities but there is a public car park within immediate walking distance. Keep up the good work of being cheap, cheerful and welcoming!

Cramped seating and a menacing atmosphere with dirty tables. I should have walked straight out but we needed a rest so against my better judgment we decided to stay and eat. Service came without a smile. I had the spicy meat feast pizza, which I’ve had elsewhere many times, but this tasted peculiar. The cheese and toppings just slid off the base. I ate half of it and thought I shouldn’t risk eating anymore. Later that afternoon I was sick. Will not return here.

Fairly decent Wetherspoons pub, cooked breakfast was good. Nice staff too. Food much cheaper than the two Oxford City centre Wetherspoons, and much better too. Okay if you want value for money , against being somewhere nice! A few issues with people in there that seem to either want to draw attention to themselves, or just be annoying to others. I think. Recent visit... Good and food (main meals) excellent. Enjoyable.
