When we visited on Wednesday 12th September we went to ordrr food the queue to order food was 14 people with 1 person serving so we walked out we returned again the next day only to be told when wr went to ordrer food that we could only from a different menu as they could not fry anything as the extractor fans where not working the normal menus where still on the tables we ordered our food my 2 sons and the childs meals arrived one of which the bacon was missing the waiter said he would take it back and replace it i waited for my meal after 10 minutes i asked whete my meal was jr said he would check he came back and said it was nearly ready waited another 10 minutes was not very nice waiter was no where to be seen had to leave as sons jad to go back to work very bad experience will think twice...

Don't be fooled by the not so great presentation, this fish and chips is one of the best I've eaten in a long time. The quality of the fish, the batter cooked to perfection, the taste and texture of the chips made this one great meal! Only the peas let it down slightly for me as they were a bit runny, almost soup like. But that would come down to preference so don't let it put you off. Knocked a post off the chips simply because of the quantity, could have done with a few more. The presentation wasn't the best as you can see, but I would rather, a dish not presented perfectly with a perfectly cooked meal than the other way...

Regularly disappointing

Go to a different wetherspoons (The Narrows manage to cook their food properly)

This pub used to be pretty reliable but now sides are constantly cold, food is regularly overcooked and actually burnt and served. (Staff are quick to rectify issues)

The toilets are almost always missing locks, loo paper, soap and arent as clean as you would hope. It is best to use the public loos in the mall.

Staff come and go. It would seem the management try to under staff but the results are poor service and unhappy employees.

The only positive i can say is that they are prompt with the food, although it's not uncommon for food to come in 5-10mins (and if you order through the app) drinks can take 15-20mins to arrive. Not really sure why...
