A lovely restaurant with really nice and tasty food and drink. The atmosphere was great when we arrived with a real mix of patrons of all different ages. We were seated upstairs in a window seat which was great. Unfortunately, as establishments try to cater for everyone including dog owners, we were soon interrupted by a loud 'yapping' dog beneath us (at the table next to the stairs). It was continuous with no attempt by the dog owners to stop it. The couple at the table next to us looked over and commented that it sounded like the dog was sat with them at their table. I'm assuming because of the set up around the stairs it just resonated up to the top floor. Such a shame as we were having a lovey time until that point able to hold a conversation. I would certainly go back on the understanding that I wasn't anywhere near the stairwell. If it wasn't for the dog issue, it would have been a solid 5 stars.
