St Fagans Castle — Restaurant in Wales

The bar staff are really abusive. I had one girl shout in my face because I wasn’t quick enough with my order…she looked like she wasn’t enjoying her job at all and I really wouldn’t have put her in front of customers to be honest. Later in the evening another member of the bar staff…a small stature male with a moustache screamed at me because I refused to pay for a shot that someone else had taken. He told me in no uncertain terms to “get out!!” even when I tried to explain? When my daughter in law tried to reason with him he caused such a disturbance! I think the bar staff are so unhappy in their work that the culture there is toxic!! and I think the management do nothing to prevent it? Avoid at all cost no matter what you hear about...

Awful visit, the girl behind the bar has a big attitude problem and seemed drunk, she is rude and needs to have a wash or get some deodorant. I don't often get to Penarth but it was my 1st and last visit to St Fagans pub. Such a shame as the pub is clean and the price of a pint is very good. No point complaining to the owner as apparently the girl...

At last this pub at the centre of Penarth has been returned to its former glory. A buzzing atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks including great offers. I called in on the last Sunday of the month and was treated to a free buffet, and a live duo. What a great evening I had! Recommend this pub. A bus stops right outside with connection to Barry...
