Situated at bottom of city centre in behind royal parade. Been there for as long as I can remember. Old style British pub with good selection of wines, spirits and beers. It does serve beverages to. A menu of pub food from full English to fish and chips and curries. I had a full English which was ok. And reasonably priced to. You can get a larger one at an extra cost. Service was good and with a smile. Something you don't get much of these days. It's a reasonable sized pub with a lot of seating. It is fairly clean on tables. But when you walk in you do get a strong smell of stale drink and dare I say it pee. Well that's what I thought I could smell. It's a well used pub and has its regulars. Toilets are average and do have a little smell to them. It's easily accessed if your disabled. But it's a city centre so parking is done in local car parks. It's a place you could visit have a drink and a bite at a reasonable cost. I have used in the past and probs will use again.

Ordered nachos, they were stone cold, with just a small amount of shredded cheese over cold nachos, like they never even saw an oven or heat source, very disappointed. it's described as a footlong and recommended for 2 people but the portion size isn't great and definitely not worth the 8.50 they charge

Held charity event here before National lockdown for Relay for life Plymouth. CRUK Excellent bar service from Dan, all who attended had a fab time and we raised just over £600. We hope to host another event here later this year.

I booked in advance for myself and a friend. We were having lunch before going to the theatre. I chose Noah's Ark as, looking online, I saw there was a gluten free menu (my friend follows a gluten free diet). When we arrived at the pub I mentioned that we were looking for gluten free options and was told that there were none, not even gluten free bread. Instead a member of bar staff brought us a large document listing all the allergy information for every item on the menu. She left us to look at this without any guidance. Later, when my friend was struggling to work out what she could eat we asked for more help. We were then shown the allergies menu but, looking through it with the bar person we could only see vegan and vegetarian options (I realised later that we should have turned to the back page of that menu, but this wasn't suggested by the bar person!). Eventually my friend opted for the Hearty House Salad from the main menu. As she was eating through this she realised that it was missing 4 of the listed ingredients: rice, quinoa, edamame beans and herby garlic dressing. When we pointed this out at the bar, and as we didn't have time to wait for a replacement meal, we were offered a full refund for the salad. I am grateful for the refund, but this didn't compensate for the fact that my friend left the pub hungry and remained so throughout the play that we were about to see.

I don't usually write reviews, but it seems important that your staff are aware of what you are offering. When it was too late we saw that there was a nice selection of gluten free dishes on the allergy menu. All that was needed was that your staff showed us these options...

Spent afternoon with 2 friends watching football.Decided to eat and take advantage of the 2 meals for£7.99 offer and paid full price for a third meal .When the 3 child size meals turned up it was clear that value for money was not company policy. The chicken curry was a joke. The portion of chicken curry which turned up barely covered the bottom of the small bowl it arrived in .I spoke to the waitress who also commented that it was rather small and she took it Back to the kitchen.Soon after the manager arrived and explained that it was a company policy standard size portion .Amazingly he did this with a straight face !.I told him that it was unacceptable and asked for my money back and he shortly returned with just 75 pence !!!!! As that was difference between single meal cost and the offer available How strange that the one I complained about was considered part of the meal deal and not the full priced one ! .I decided to give him the 75p as a tip and keep his curry .The company's poor lack of value for money and shockingly bad customer service clearly indicated that I was wasting my breath.Fortunately for the company and manager I didn't think to take a photo of the So called portion of curry as I doubt anybody would have recognised it less alone consider it value for money ..Absolutely disgraceful.Never again will i eat here or recommend it to...

Such a lovely place and nice and chilled. All the staff are lovely and kind even the doormen. Hayley - so lovely and kind and even got me out when I got locked in the toilet once lol. Kenny - a very funny person and also very kind. Dan - very nice person, always gives me my favourite glass when I get a drink! Dave - such a nice person, know him very well and knows my usual drink! Beth - new to the place however is great at table service making sure we’ve got everything we need. Will and Emma - lovely people, don’t see them much on the weekend but still kind. Josh - great at having a conversation with. All together such a great team, good selection of beers, spirits, shots, wines, whiskeys and lager! Even nice selection of soft drinks and crisps. The food is outstanding, good prices and good quality! Slot machines, charging facilities for mobile phones, pool table and good music! Live sports played daily for everyone to enjoy. Couldn’t ever fault them. Definitely a place to come with family, friends or even...
