Blue Ocean Fish And Chips — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Ordered food, staff then sent a customer to the shops for tins of mushy peas for my order. Said old boy then returns and prepared my peas from tin to container and microwaved them, didn't wash his hands, no apron, food hygiene flag!!!.£4.40 for a tin of peas, not shop made. Didn't eat them as licked fingers and food prep not my thing. Fish and chips was ok to be fair. Standard fish and chips x 2 , 2 battered sausages and two pots of mushy peas £32!! Shop is cash only....

Absoloutely brilliant ! Lovely food, cooked fresh, fantastic friendly service, reasonable prices and MASSIVE portions..I honestly couldn't fault a thing.... My new favourite...was always a regular at mother Kelly's but blue ocean knocked the socks off them !

A warning when ordering chips, we ordered one large portion and I kid you not it would have fed a family of 5 !!

For the last 2 years I spend about £30per week as a pensioner... I first draw the cash at the atm right next to the shop, and pay with £50. Suddenly today, I'm told they do not take £50 notes.. I enquired why... Just got a shrug of shoulders.. No reason given... Why was my cash good for 2 years.. Now not. I will find another shop, it might not have a significant change in your sales... But at least give me...
