Greggs — Restaurant in Portsmouth

Let us down on my son’s birthday. Ordered sandwich platters, shop didn’t open for the day. No phone call, rung customer services they couldn’t get hold of the store, nor the store manager who apparently is local to cosham, and the area manager! The poor customer service advisor on the phone and his manager tried calling round other stores in the area to see if they could make up some platters, not there fault but no stores had fresh stock, so i got given money on my greegs app as a apology so we could at least try and get something for the party.

It’s been two weeks now and the store manager was meant to be calling me back to personally apologise still waiting.

In the last two weeks the store hasn’t been open some days. The store needs a good sort out, since moving from the old store to this one everything gone down hill.

Every other Greggs they want to know what u want so they can save time by doing hot drinks whilst getting ur food order ready, but some of the staff in here if u tell them say “1 white coffe please and a sausage roll” they will Say wait I’m doing the drinks...

Visited here few weekends again and was served by Mitch. Lovely friendly chap. Even though it was busy he managed to keep smiling. Food was spot on with no issues. Table we sat at was clear of rubbish and clean. I noticed during the time we sat and ate and had our drink that Mitch later then walked around, sprayed and cleaned the tables so it was good to see cleanliness measures were being applied frequently at this branch. Top credit to Mitch for being so efficient...

We are very disappointed by the service we received today by Anna who we believe is the manager of the cosham store she was very rude and impolite corrected us on product names told us to wait whilst she put in our hot food before we could order anything else and still failed to put both of our food products into the heater so we had to wait even longer for our food! If you can stand the pressure of being a manager...
