If you fancy some cheap booze, that's the place. I am sure it's great when there is live music bands but we were here around lunch time just for a drink in mid week, it was very quiet. Available parking and tables to sit outside.

Drake is the hearth and home for ale lovers and music lovers alike. The staff are wonderful and feel like my family. I have never had a bad pint here. X

Great friendly service from Chucky, good cask ale and yummy pickles eggs. Good old English pub before heading back to France and keg beers!

The staff are absolutely wonderful—welcoming, attentive, and always up for a chat, making sure you have the best experience possible. The locals are just as friendly, creating a great sense of community where everyone feels like part of the family.

Now, let’s talk about the drinks—the selection is top-notch! Whether you're a fan of ales, lagers, spirits, or something special, they have something for everyone. Their ales are particularly excellent, well-kept and full of flavor. And of course, the **beer is always fresh

Overall, Admiral Drake Pub is a hidden gem in Portsmouth, offering a friendly atmosphere, great drinks,. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is a **must-visit pub where you'll always be welcomed with a smile. Highly...

Not the greatest looking pub in the world, but very popular with the locals and the biker fraternity (non threatening variety) Good selection of beers, ales, lagers and cider...and well priced.

Live sports, free WiFi, small car park and some outside seating...but dirty and noisy, due to proximity of a main road and flyover.

I was served by a lovely young lady, who treated me like a regular customer, was chatty, friendly and extremely helpful with local information. Didn't get her name, but blonde hair, pretty face and nice smile. So thank you for your advice...re-parking...

Barman was super friendly, but I will admit the place had a bad smell throughout. I'd read reviews that it had good ales yet only had Greene King and Abbot, a few others in bottles. A pint of Abbot was £5 which was surprising to me. All in all not a terrible pub but it could be improved - that being said it felt like it had a strong local crowd so no...
