I recently visited the Beach Hut cafe in Preston while waiting for my car's MOT. Excited about its dog-friendly reputation, I ordered a doggy pork sausage for my pooch and some food for myself. However, the experience took a disappointing turn. Despite confirming its dog-friendly policy, the owner objected when my dog sat on the sofa and I fed her from my plate.
