I am not one to write reviews but if your thinking about going to a Starbucks do not think about going here. I have no idea what's happened over the last few months here with the lack of customer service. I come here often as it is close to my work and have had numerous appalling experiences that should not be ignored. Such a shame because it is a lovely Starbucks but please if you want to have a nice day, avoid coming here.
From 20 minute waits in drive thru, to giving your order to other customers, 10 minute waits for drinks inside, forgetting food items that I've ordered at the counter, not making your order correctly or even forgetting about it.
I had a young gentlemen completely forget I'd ordered a pan au choc, (the last one) 10 minutes later I went back to the counter to ask where my one item was and he decided to respond with 'we've sold out' but still charged me for it and had me waiting. Can i also say they had not sold out as it was in the pastry case at the time i purchased the item clearly he had sold it to some one else after me and did not want to say that.    Read moreVisited on Sat 21st Oct 2023 with my wife. Ordered a cheese toastie and large Latte. Guy on till kept us waiting for a while until he eventually took our order. Other people were waiting a lot longer than I was after I placed my order. Took ages for our small order to come through. Also, I could see that the hygiene levels behind the counter wasn't too impressive. Food being handled and prepared without gloves and care. Very messy and untidy. Customer tables were disgusting and the place was dirty. When our food finally came out, the mug was dirty and the toastie was put in a brown bag even though we told the guy we were eating in. I noticed that no one had a plate or cutlery, everyone was given food in small brown bags. Not too impressed with the quality of service and food especially as we paid so much for just 2 items. We will stick to our regular Café Nero or Costa Coffee outlets. I think this branch requires more staff during busy times and regular training and management checks.    Read moreWe are regular customers at this Starbucks and this morning I ordered my usual latte and a chocolate Cheesecake muffin. When it arrived the coffee was fine but the muffin wasnât fresh it had a brown burnt look on the cheesecake which should have a creamy white look and clearly wasnât fresh. Iâve had one before like that and it was tasteless so I knew what the quality should be like. When I rang the shop she was apologetic and said she would drop off a fresh one. When it arrived I had obviously already drank my coffee which I wanted to have my cake with so instead of maybe sending a fresh coffee and cake with my order they sent two more un fresh cakes which were better than the first one but still looked un fresh. I rang the shop again to be told I was wrong there was nothing wrong with them but she would investigate as she had just opened the box from the supplier that morning. I informed her maybe because of the hot weather they were becoming un fresh somewhere along the line. Iâm really disappointed...
