The staff and the IT system is pretty hopeless at this branch.
The workers all look like they are related in some way, either family or friends, do not speak or understand clear English.
Speaking to the order speaker at the drive through, ordering a single Whopper, the operator asks back "what do you want with your Whopper meal?" You have to say things 3 to 4 times before they understand.
To the payment and collection window (same window), I asked for the receipt after receiving my order, the woman replied "you did not order onion rings", I asked for my RECEIPT.
On another occasion, the male operator did not understand what I was saying to him via the speaker, drove to the window to SHOW him the Plant Based Whopper that I wanted to order, containing an app code. Inputting the info into his till, looking at my app, he replied "you want to order a plant based whopper?"
Going inside to collect, when they call out the order numbers for customers to collect, they are not clear. No, it was not due to the face coverings they were wearing at the time, I have experienced the same issues with them on past visits.

Ordered a few items at the speaker, went to the 2nd window to make payment and collection. The female staff could not exercise basic manners when I asked her for my receipt after handing me the food and walked away. She did not even look at me and handed me the receipt when she finally found it amongst the many that were coming off the till, said nothing, not even "here it is" or "there you go". Tells you everything you need to know about the people working at this franchise.

Read moreI would go as far as to say the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life! I was overcharged by £7 for a £6 meal. When I asked for a refund the manager refused. The restaurant was filthy and had clearly not been cleaned all day (I went to the restaurant at around 3pm). The manager made my 3 year old children cry with the ordeal which he caused. I ended up leaving the restaurant having not eaten the food which had to be returned. I was left £20 out of pocket, without a single piece of food eaten. Do not eat at this restaurant unless you are prepared to run the risk of being robbed by the manager/employees, or end up with an illness caused by the lack of cleanliness within the restaurant. This could have been easily resolved with an apology from the manager, and a refund for the overcharge I incurred! Utterly disgraceful establishment, and a manager which should not even be serving customers due to the atrocious customer service and horrendous attitude! I pity the franchisee for the manager they are paying, and the disregard given to the care given to the restaurant by the manager. 1 star was only given be user I couldn’t give no star! If you are left with no choice to eat at this restaurant be very careful to check they do not intentionally overcharge you, as you will not get a refund for the difference back - you’ve been warned! Read moreKnocking.my review down by a star after the terrible customer service this evening. Ordered a plant based Whopper for delivery, got a meat whopper. Phoned the store, they wanted to argue about what I'd been delivered, and their only suggested resolution was for me to go to the store to pick up the correct meal. They didn't care that I'd paid for delivery.
Both today and last Saturday I visited the drive through to pick up a couple of double cheeseburgers, and both times the burgers themselves were so cold they couldn't even start to melt the cheese. At least today both the buns were fresh, last time one of the buns was stale and dry. I have no idea what is going on in their kitchen, but based on the food I've been served it very much gives the impression they are just serving the previous evening's leftovers.
Fortunately, after my previous terrible experience I was sure to check the food before I left and so got a refund. While I did get my money back I felt the manager didn't take the issue seriously, I had to push him to actually bother to check the temperature of the food, which was dismissed with a somewhat surly "it's warm". Granted, it was marginally hotter than the ambient air temperature, but I expect a burger to have more heat than the residual body temperature of the cow when it was slaughtered.
