Curry Chef — Restaurant in Reading

I was absolutely blown away when I came into this restaurant.

I had my first time in this restaurant tonight and it was the best experience I have ever had in a resturant, I really did not expect to have as good a time as I did because of the location of the restaurant but its is a small piece of heaven.

I visited on a Wednesday and took full advantage of their 5 courses for £15 And it was all incredible, I can't exactly remember everything I ordered, but the onion bhaji I had as a starter was spectacular.

The atmosphere inside of the restaurant made me feel as if I was inside if a much larger and grander building than what it is.

At the beginning of my service, I was given a lap towel, and at the end, I was given a hot towel with 2 orange slices, and after I had paid, I was gifted a small chocolate piece.

I wish I could give this place a higher rating as they really try thier best and offer...

Ordered takeaway, arrived at least 10 minutes early, by very friendly and courteous young man. Food packed carefully in small plastic carrier, all tops secure and no leakages. Pilau rice, chicken pasanda, sag aloo, popodoms and dips, all piping hot. The portions were generous, and easily enough for two. The food was delicious, lots of large pieces of chicken in the pasanda, and the sauce was thick and creamy. Lots of spinach in the sag and the rice was colourful and not stodgy. Poppodoms were thin but still whole and not broken. Definitely one of the better takeaways I have had. Only one shortcoming , is I received a text to tell me there is 10% off if ordering online. May have been my oversight but I couldn’t work out where you put that in when ordering. Will order from here again and would recommend to anyone wanting a good...

What a horrible experience yesterday night. I ordered my food for my 2 children and wife at 8.45pm. We was told it would be 30-45 minutes wait for delivery as a maximum. 1 hour and 30 minutes later we still havent had any food. After 2/3 calls to the restaurant i finally get an answer, that the driver is has left and will be with me very shortly. (The driver arrived 20 minutes later) so when he arrived we thought finally!

Guess what we got had some of our order missing so we couldn’t even have our dinner!!!!

At 11pm we finally got all our food.

What a shambles! Food was ok but to be honest waiting for hours and putting the kids to bed hungry isnt what we were looking...
