Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Reading

Awful experience this evening. Food hadn’t arrived after one hour. Called and was told the driver had ‘waited outside for 15 minutes’ and then left. When I asked why he hadn’t just rang our doorbell, I was told he couldn’t park OR perhaps he was lost. So which was it? Said they’d send the same food back which would take another half hour. I complained the food would be cold and I was told no it would still be ‘kind of warm’. Manager refused to come on the phone despite apparently denying me a refund from behind the scenes. Clearly just money grabbing as they could afford to throw in a new pizza or just give me back my £30. How tight are your margins that you can’t do that in the interest of keeping a customer...

We placed an order online with Papa John’s (Shinfield Road branch) but never received it. When we called the store to get an update, we were told they didn’t have our order — and they hung up on my wife mid-call.

When we called back, the girl who answered was extremely rude, giving my wife attitude and speaking to her in an abusive manner. The customer service was absolutely shocking.

Despite having a confirmation email showing our order was placed, we received nothing — yet they still took our money. No food, no help, and...

What a horrible experience. I ordered pizza for the delivery. I got my pizza after one hour and driving was giving me missed calls to find out my address. Pizza was tasteless, stiff and cold.I rang the store for the feedback and person on the phone was not professional at all. Even though I didn't ask for pizza , she was very rude and said that we can't give you any compensation or free pizza. . ( I didn't mention any free pizza.). I will never buy any pizza in future. Will warn other people too. Horrible...
