A Pleasant Stay at Hilton Reading

I had a very pleasant experience at Hilton Reading. While the hotel is not overly fancy, it’s clean, comfortable, and well-kept — just what you need for a relaxing visit.

One of the highlights for me was the outdoor seating area, which was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy some fresh air. It added a nice touch of calm to the overall atmosphere.

What really stood out, though, was the service. We were looked after by Ilia, who was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. He made us feel welcome and ensured everything went smoothly during our visit. It’s always the people who make the biggest difference, and Ilia certainly did. We also had dinner, and we were looked after by Zoltan, who we know from our previous stay and he is always welcoming and friendly and two lovely youngsters Ava and Toby.

Fantastic experience stopping in for lunch. The OXBO burger was probably the best burger I have eaten recently, the addition of rarebit made for a delicious twist on a conventional cheese burger. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff were attentive, but not intrusively so. I felt looked after.

The cafe has a lovely calm atmosphere, but not boringly so. There were a few customers in giving it a good vibe, but without being hectic - I didn't wait long for service or for my food to arrive.

It would be an ideal place for someone looking to have a working lunch, and there are spaces set out with power outlets for those with busy working schedules. Very conveniently located a few minutes away from Green Park, making for a nice change to eating in the company cafe if you are...

Food was amazing, however when our food and drink served and food we neglected even though me and friend were the only people inside the restaurant we had Emilia serve us but when we finished our food non of staff approached us Emilia walked passed us multiple times and ignored us. It felt like Emilia and the rest of the staff don’t find customer service important they preferred having a mother’s meeting at the bar even leaning. There was another staff with blue eyes and mousey brown hair he was mostly focused on phone.
