The Parkside Cafe — Restaurant in Reading

I visit the cafe now and again , each time it's as friendly as the last, the staff are exceptional and a credit to their team.. the food is prepared nicely from a great range.. I must admit that I nearly always alter the menu to suit my taste of the day.. there is never a problem with this ..great coffee and range of drinks.. the cafe is busy in a great way .. marvelous work goes on within the building .. I always feel uplifted...

Staff are really excellent and great selection of teas coffee (only £2!) cakes and biscuits. Just a word of warning if you have young kids and go for the softplay be sure to stay with your kids while they play. My daughter has been kicked in the head, pushed over and scratched in the face (purposely) by other children...and that's with me supervising her. Lovely little cafe that is run in support of the YMCA. Good selection of snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. Close to prospect park is a good place to visit before or after. Very good for young children with a small soft play area. There is a nice outside area with plenty of extra tables for nice weather and the staff are very nice. Also available for private hire at a reasonable price considering...
