I recently had the pleasure of dining at Da Village Afghan Cuisine, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. This gem in the heart of [City Name] offers an authentic taste of Afghan cuisine, paired with outstanding service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the restaurant's inviting ambience. The decor is tasteful and rich with cultural elements that transport you straight to Afghanistan. The seating is comfortable and well-spaced, creating an intimate yet lively dining environment. The service at Da Village Afghan Cuisine is impeccable. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server took the time to explain the dishes and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Their passion for Afghan cuisine was evident, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. The food was the true highlight of the evening. We started with the Mantu, delicate dumplings filled with seasoned beef and topped with a delicious yoghurt sauce. For the main course, we shared the Kabuli Pulao, the national dish of Afghanistan. The tender lamb, flavorful rice, and sweet bursts of raisins and carrots created a perfect harmony of flavours. The Chapli Kebab was another standout, with its robust spices and juicy texture. The portions were generous, and each dish was beautifully presented. We also enjoyed a selection of fresh naan and the Bolani, a savoury stuffed flatbread that was simply divine. To top it off, we tried the Firni, a traditional Afghan dessert that was light, creamy, and the perfect end to our meal. Da Village Afghan Cuisine offers an exceptional dining experience that goes beyond just great food. The restaurant's commitment to authenticity, quality, and customer satisfaction is evident in every detail. Whether you're new to Afghan cuisine or a long-time fan, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing dining experience at Da Village Afghan Restaurant, and I cannot recommend it enough! We ordered their **Half Kg Lamb Karahi, Half Kg Chicken Karahi, Chicken Mix Kebab, Lamb Chops, Kabuli Pulao Rice, Afghani Aubergine, 2 Afghani Naan, and a Large Bottle of Drink**, which serves up to 6 people, and it was absolutely fantastic. The **Lamb Karahi** and **Chicken Karahi** were bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced, and cooked to tender perfection. The **Chicken Mix Kebab** and **Lamb Chops** were grilled to perfection, juicy, and full of authentic Afghan flavors. The highlight for me was the **Kabuli Pulao Rice**, with its rich, aromatic taste and the delightful topping of raisins and carrots—it was truly a showstopper. The **Afghani Aubergine** was a unique and flavorful side dish that paired wonderfully with the freshly baked **Afghani Naan**, which was soft and fluffy. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh. The ambiance of the restaurant, combined with the exceptional service, made the meal even more enjoyable. Whether you’re looking for authentic Afghan cuisine or a hearty meal to share with family and friends, this restaurant is a must-visit. Thank you, Da Village, for an unforgettable culinary experience! We will definitely be back soon.

I dined at this wonderful Afghan restaurant today, on the recommendation of an Afghan friend and I must say it was a delightful experience. The Chapli Kebab was a highlight, with its perfectly spiced ground meat and herbs, cooked to perfection. The flavors were authentic and left me craving for more. The Kabuli Pulao was a fragrant masterpiece. Tender pieces of meat, flavorful rice, and a medley of aromatic spices came together in a mouthwatering symphony. The Afghan Biryani was another winner, with its unique blend of flavors and spices that set it apart from other biryanis I've tried. What's even better is that all this deliciousness came within my budget. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for such high-quality food. I’d like to thank Zinat, who looked after us. She was very welcoming and friendly. To top it up she helped us choosing the dishes. The restaurant not only satisfied my taste buds but also provided a glimpse into Afghan culinary traditions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to savor authentic Afghan cuisine.

Aggressive staff, Poor customer service , Extremely bad experience

09/04 I came home around 6:30 PM after traveling approx. 180 miles . My family was here from abroad and I thought to go out with them for food . We went to Da Village , We order food we were told in 20 mins food will be ready. After 45 mins I thought he forgot I tried to wave my hand , all staff members keep on ignoring us . And after a lot of effort someone came and said ok and he bought two Naan with Humas I said where is our main meal he said I will bring. So we keep on waiting and started eating two Nan nothing arrived We were done with food . I wave my hand and try to reach again to the staff they ignore me I went to the counter tried to explain them they have forgot to serve main mail Man ignore me again and I came back to my seat while coming back , Man on the counter call me “ listen “ ( I didn’t responded him and came back to my seat ) Man on the counter aggressively came to my seat and started shouting on me in front of my family he was saying I asked you to stop why didn’t you ( I wonder no one was listening to me for more than an hour and I was still polite and he was aggressively insulting me for what? coming to this Da Village ?). This was the time for 1 min I thought I should leave Da village and respond him back but I thought my family will remember this event and take bad memories so I said just leave I have to say this multiple times . I went into this restaurant yesterday at 10 PM with a friend it was pretty quiet they had a table reserved for a party I ordered a T-bone steak meal and a lamb chops meal both request were not available the alternative I was suggested was a two Skewer lamb chops and lamb pieces when this meal arrived after 25 mins there was suppose to have 8 lamb pieces as well as lamb pieces we received one plate which was barely enough for 1 i ordered extra food and mentioned that this was a recommendation from the person who took the order and was not enough however was told they had ran out of food however a party of ten people came in and they were able to order what they wanted but didn’t see the beef steak. was very disappointed with portion and charged us £22 for a meal that did not suffice two normal guys. no organization or management the same guy who took the order was basically on his own doing everything he could not even get out of the kitchen with his hands full of food plates no help around for him and he was getting impatient with us when he didn’t have the original request of food . would of scored less but the food was actually nice just small portions of meal lack of management. i expect contact from manager or owner otherwise won’t be coming back and there is another restaurant afghan as well about 10 yards down oxford road kobeda palace big...
