I have always considered myself lucky that this is the pub "just about opposite" my preferred laundromat (which I think I have also commended elsewhere on GMaps) over the last few years. Sneaky beer or two at a pretty good price, whilst the washer and/or dryer are doing their thing, if you get my drift. Unfailingly very friendly service, ostensibly very high standards in keeping the beer well. By an accident of timing, however, I found myself this evening for the first time considering a food order. My first reaction on seeing the menu was, admittedly, "ooh, that seems just a little pricey for a pub in this location", but I took the plunge and ordered the goulash, with twin side salads. Best decision in weeks. It was utterly superb, and worth every penny. (Please don't put the price up on account of that though.... 🤪) If I could give that meal 6...

Pork goulash with mash and veg for main meal , again wow , this was my first taste of polish cuisine which I highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed.
