Cooking Good Filling Great — Restaurant in Redditch

Unfortunately the cleanliness of the lady wearing glasses that prepared our sandwiches today was shocking. Ive been here many times but not for a long time and unfortunately it seems cleanliness has slipped. Handling cash and then making sandwiches with unwashed hands, with no gloves handling the sandwiches, picking out the salad with her fingers and spreading across the sandwich, but the worst thing... she wiped her finger under her nose on two occasions while preparing/touching our food all while we are stood there and can see everything. Since when is this acceptable and where are your gloves whilst handling food for people to consume? Or at the bare minimum washing hands... Especially after handling money too!! This is disgusting and some correct hygiene practices need to be put into place and perhaps some food safety training. This time of year especially with flus, colds and sickness bugs going around this causes contamination to the food and risks illness to customers. In a shop full of customers we did not want to embarrass the employee or cause a scene but feel that this seriously needs addressing and hygiene measurements put in place... but considering no body was wearing gloves etc it seemed pointless to even ask as they clearly aren't being used here. The sandwiches were not eaten unfortunately but it would be good to know that some changes will be made...

Absolutely amazing food and staff. I have been ordering food from here for over a year and never had any issues at all. Food has always been a good temperature, tastes amazing and there is absolutely loads of it! Had to leave this review as this morning as I experienced a slight hiccup with not receiving one of the burgers I ordered (as previously mentioned, I have never had an issue before). I phoned the store to explain and was delivered my missing order along with a free cake! That’s exactly how you run a business and I would have been a returning customer regardless, like I have been for the past year but...

Uses to be top place been here since start but moved out of area came back through other day thought I'd order a bite to eat ,blt white baguette like the old days used to be 2.50 for that with 3 or 4 rashons of bacon however came back today nearly 5 pounds only 2 peices of bacon and hot dog bun for bread that's not a baguette seems like started to cut corners and charge double price I know things are harder but don't increase your price then decrease standards keep the standards at...
